Happy Girls Day!

LaVerne from Sock Dollyville wants everyone to know today is Japanese Girls Day, set aside to celebrate the success and happiness of girls!  Families with daughters display special dolls and there's even special food! 

In Japan it's called Hina-matsuri, which means Festival of Dolls!  You could say every day is Hina-matsuri in Monkey Town!

Hey everybody, it's Laverne with big doings from Sock Dollyville!

"We caught a big computer worm trying to get into Monkey Town last night," Laverne said with eyes as big as saucers.  "We hit it with a stick and it went away!  Then we patched the hole it went through with silly putty!"

Oh my!  I hope it stays away!

"It's all over Sock Dollyville," LaVerne said while flipping her yarn hair out of her eyes.  "You need a coconut... and I might know where one is!  Do you have anything to trade for it?"
