Beware The Beast!

Meet Sweet Pea the resident C-A-T, or as all in Monkey Town call her:  The (strange and wondrous) Beast. 

We sock monkeys got knocked down a peg when The Beast moved in with The Lady and The Man.  Oh sure, she was a kitten then and snagged their hearts.  But then she grew into a C-A-T and got all stuck-up and bossy. 

We used to get to sleep in the Big Bed sometimes, but now The Beast hogs it EVERY NIGHT.  And she leaves her stripey Beast hair everywhere.  I tell you, it would just stick in my craw if I had one.

Why C-A-T?

Somebody asked me why I refer to The Beast as a C-A-T.  Here in Monkey Town, instead of saying them, we're supposed to spell our dirty words out loud.

Eeeewww!

The Beast ate a worm!  The Beast ate a green, sticky worm!  Eeeewww!  She came running in the house with part of it stuck to her ear!  Part of it was dangling from a whisker and she was chewing on the rest of it!  Eeeewww!  Then The Lady had to chase her down and wipe the worm parts off with her fingers!

What She Does

Be Careful Baby

As you can see, it's another productive day for The Beast here in Monkey Town.  Baby with a Big Head taunts her when she's asleep, saying things like, "You're not so tough NOW are you?" 

Baby hasn't been caught teasing The Beast... yet.

Nuclear Eyeball

Twila's settling in to her new home here in Monkey Town!  The Beast tried to scare Twila with a nuclear eyeball, but Twila's a brave gal and isn't phased.

Mick the Magnifico!

Mick has decided he wants to be a magician!  Today, he says he's going to make The Beast disappear!

"I need a cheese grater, a vacuum cleaner, uh... two sparklers and most importantly, a handkerchief!  Oh, and everyone has to look away!"

Find out tomorrow if The Beast disappeared!

Mick the Magnifico! says his trick to make The Beast disappear didn't work because someone looked.  He says everyone has to look away in order for the magic to work! 

Mick also says he should have used three sparklers.

Oh no!  Even The Beast is ashamed of Speedy's sugar habit!  Will Speedy turn things around?  Will Barbette take him back?
